Welcome to Galerie19

Art needs to be experienced and comes to life when it is shown and shared.

With Galerie19 we want to create a new open space in Ghent, where visual artists with diverse backgrounds and practises, using different media can show their work to visitors in an accessible and welcoming place.

Located in the ‘kunstenkwartier’ (art quarter) of the city of Ghent, which has a vivid art scene, the gallery is in walking distance of the museums (SMAK, MSK), the arts centre Viernulvier (De Vooruit), music centre ‘De Bijloke’ and the Opera House.

During exhibitions Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 2 PM till 6 PM
and by appointment
